This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.Human and some mouse caspases are active in apoptosis and cell death and even in necrosis and inflammation. CASP Gene and orthologous enzymes have been identifies successfully in the signal transduction cascade and pathways.
Storage and shipping
Store at +Store productone at +4 degrees Celsius. or productone should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius. if preferred. productone should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should productone contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of dispatch.

CASPASE-3 This item recognises the Caspase-3 cell death protease (also known as CPP32, YAMA and apopain).Caspase-3 is a 32kD protein, activated during apoptosis by cleavage into 17kD and 11kD fragments. This item recognises both intact Caspase-3 and the 17kD fragment, but not the 11kD fragment. In immunohistochemical studies Caspase-3 expression has been shown to be widespread, but not present in all cell types. Differences in the level of Caspase-3 have been reported in cells of short-lived nature (e.g. germinal centre B cells) and those that are long lived (e.g. mantle zone B cells).
